VHS Learning's Spring 2023 Registration Open Until January 25th

Schools use VHS Learning online courses to provide students with more AP®, core, and
elective courses and to alleviate staffing and scheduling challenges

Boston— Jan. 16, 2023 — According to Education Week, many school districts reported having a hard time filling staff vacancies at the start of the 2022-23 school year. Even with vacant teaching posts, high schools can ensure that their students receive a well-rounded education, including core, Advanced Placement® and elective classes, from VHS Learning’s accredited program.

Course enrollment for spring 2023 can be found here. While regular registration for the spring semester closes on January 25, schools can begin 2022-2023 partnerships with the nonprofit through February 1. For students needing course credits for graduation, or simply looking to add another elective course not offered by their school to their spring schedule, now is the time to enroll.

Schools of all types — urban, rural, public, and private — use VHS Learning to expand their programs of study and offer instructor-led courses that might not otherwise be available to their students locally. The program features small class sizes, certified teachers, interactive learning, and flexible scheduling with coursework that is accessible anywhere students have internet access. Adding VHS Learning courses is quick and easy, as VHS Learning provides the course instructors and curriculum, as well as its team of helpful online learning experts. Students schedule VHS Learning courses into their standard school day, just like any other course offered at their school, working with their school’s guidance department. Students whose school does not utilize the VHS Learning program can enroll in the program directly

“For 27 years, VHS Learning has helped schools prepare their students for college and careers,” said Carol DeFuria, President & CEO of VHS Learning. “In fact, schools use the VHS Learning program year after year, confident in the knowledge they are providing their students with high-quality, collaborative, engaging learning opportunities.”

Included in VHS Learning’s course offerings are 26 AP® offerings, innovative STEM and humanities programs, and a wide variety of unique electives. All VHS Learning teachers are high school certified in their subject area and 81% of VHS Learning teachers possess a master’s degree or higher.
