We offer several enrollment options with varying levels of participation and customization.
Student Enrollments
Individual enrollment is the simplest option for schools to enroll only one or a few students in VHS courses.
“Through VHS, we’re helping to stretch student learning experiences by offering them choices. . .They’re encouraged to explore and experiment, just like they’ll be doing in college and in their careers.” - Gerry Goyette, Principal at Sutton Middle School
Standard Partnerships
Teaching Partnership
Our most popular option. Join our collaborative of schools by designating one of your teachers to teach a course for VHS. Your school will save on student tuition and your designated VHS teacher and site coordinator will benefit from professional development. Teacher and site coordinator training is free with your partnership.
Student Only Partnership
Your students will benefit from VHS courses even if you don’t participate with a teacher. Student Only partnerships start with as few as 5 seats per semester. Site coordinator training is included free, and your school will still save on student tuition.
“VHS enables us to expand our program of studies in a flexible manner that fits into any student schedule. I also like the idea that a district is partly responsible for maintaining the quality of the instruction since we also contribute to the programming.” - Eric Conti, Superintendent at Burlington Public Schools
Custom Partnerships
Don't see what you need? We can customize any aspect of our program to address your school's unique challenges. For example, we can design, manage and facilitate a course exclusively for your school; host your blended course on our learning management system; or provide professional development in online teaching to your staff. “As an urban district I feel that VHS is particularly a good fit for us because of the flexibility it offers. Most of our students have a lot of family, work and other responsibilities that they are juggling. Without VHS, many of these kids wouldn’t be able to take an advanced class.” – Lisa Dyer, Manager of Staff Development at Worcester Public Schools
“They’re always super excited to tell me that they have classmates in Brazil, Ireland, or other countries worldwide. . .We’re here in this little community, so VHS helps them recognize that there’s a bigger community out there than just what they’re seeing in Sutton.” - Gerry Goyette, Principal at Sutton Middle School
