There is no specific start time to each day. You may log in at any time that best fits your daily schedule.
You are expected to spent approximately 90 minutes per day, Monday-Friday, on each course. Those 90 minutes will be spent completing weekly assignments, working with your classmates on projects, and contributing to online discussions.
As long as you have internet access, you can access your course. However, if you know you will be away from internet access and unable to attend class, please contact your teacher directly via the 'Private Topic' within your course.
Yes. All assignments will be due by 12:00AM (EST) the Friday of each week. Any work turned in after that will be accepted but will be penalized. Late work is accepted for only 1 week.
Each VHS course has a highly-qualified teacher leading the way. Your teacher is in your online classroom and will check into the course each day (Monday-Friday) to assess your work and the work of your classmates. Since everything is conducted online, your teacher and fellow classmates can be anywhere in the country or around the world.
If you are on a special education plan and need specific accommodations, either you or your parent/guardian must notify your VHS instructor(s) during the first week of class so the proper arrangements can be made.
Students must determine whether their school will accept VHS Summer School coure credit for credit recovery or initial credit before registering for the course.
