Program Director for the Online Judaic Studies Consortium
Lisa Micley is the Program Director for the Online Judaic Studies Consortium at VHS. She is responsible for recruiting day schools and teachers for membership in the OJSC. She is involved in the design, development and delivery of the unique online Judaic Studies courses offered to students within the consortium. Lisa has been active in Jewish education for four decades. As North American School Liaison for TaL AM, she worked with teachers and principals in schools across the country helping them to use TaL AM in their settings. She was on the faculty of the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston and mentored teachers at the Prozdor of Hebrew College. She earned undergraduate degrees from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary before coming to Boston to pursue graduate study at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Lisa was a Jim Joseph Foundation Fellow in the Leading Educators Online program of the Lookstein Center at Bar Ilan University.
